Cabiran employs highly qualified, certified QA professionals who use precision test equipment to ensure that casted products exactly match the drawing requirements and comply with the strictest applicable standards.
Our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) staff is qualified at Level II and Level III. Welders are certified to AWS 17.1.
Cabiran is an approved supplier to major industry leaders, including United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS), Honeywell, P&WC, Parker, Elbit Systems, Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), Northrop Grumman, Rafael, Eaton, GE Aviation.
Equipment, Testing & Inspection
Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment enables our entire operation to produce the highest quality parts and castings in compliance with industry standards. Using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Clinic Process Charts (QCPC) methodologies, Cabiran collects feedback from its customers and its team members to regularly improve efficiency and processes.
Cabiran’s testing and inspection facilities include a National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) and customer-approved radiographic and penetrant inspection, pressure testing and metallurgy lab. Precision testing employs standard CMMs and other advanced equipment.
Cabiran’s inspection facilities are maintained to comply with the international standards, and all test equipment is calibrated according to manufacturer and industry standards.
Cabiran implements process control from material orders through to production and supply to customers. Line inspectors verify compliance in critical stages and departments. Cabiran has self-release authority from its customers.
Our QA department follows the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Quality Clinic (concepts of Lean Six Sigma).
Bar-coded routing cards accompany each cast part for full traceability from design and casting to post-casting and shipping.
